Survival of rationalism between hostility and economic growth

Article Abstract:

The economic relationship between two hostile or potentially hostile countries is examined, focusing on how the accumulation of arms stocks may affect the economic development of both countries. Topics include Turkish-Russian relations, the importance of trade as a diplomatic tool for peace, and the efficient allocation of resources as they relate to consumer products and arms.

Conflict resolution, culture, and religion: toward a training model of interreligious peacebuilding

Article Abstract:

This article explores the cultural and religious contexts of conflicts, and attempts to bridge the concepts of conflict management and intercultural training by presenting a model for interreligious peacebuilding. The author uses data from workshops conducted between 1996-1999 on religiously diverse participants, analyzing their responses to the Intercultural Sensitivity Model.
