The Canadian-Asian experience: an introductory synthesis

Article Abstract:

Asians constitute a major portion of the Canadian immigrants and therefore a detailed study of the Canadian-Asian relationship is significant to an understanding Canada's role in the Asian world. This will be helpful for the further study on the relationship between the Americas, Asia and the international immigration system. Immigration constitutes one of the major aspects in the study of Canadian-Asian history. A broader examination of this aspect will help in synthesizing the various cultural differences of the Asian immigrants with the Canadian society.
