And if Jones does appeal? Legal experts of all stripes advise Paula Jones to appeal her case - even though she'll likely lose

Article Abstract:

Attorneys specializing in sexual harassment litigation share the opinion that Paula Jones should appeal Judge Susan Wright's dismissal of her sexual harassment suit against Pres Bill Clinton, but that she will probably lose the appeal. Reasons vary but include low financial costs of the appeal compared to what has been spent so far, the appeals courts lack of deference to trial judges when reviewing grants of summary judgment, and Jones' need to convince only two of the three appellate judges that just one of the three dismissed claims deserves a jury hearing.

Jones case lacking in legal merit? Duh!

Article Abstract:

The idea that the law is just another kind of political theater gains much credence from Paula Jones' unsuccessful sexual harassment case against Pres Bill Clinton. Ms. Jones' attorneys still achieved their goal of causing Clinton maximum political embarrassment even though Judge Susan Wright ruled that her claims have no legal merit. Allegations of Clinton's affair with other women and attempts to cover them up were the best evidence of the political acumen and legal weakness of Jones' case.
