Research indicates that corporate criminal activity in the waste-trade industries should be addressed as environmental crime rather than strictly organized crime. Topics include the limited effectiveness of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act in addressing the scope and impact of waste-trade crime.
