Continuing legal education

Article Abstract:

The National Law Journal's directory of major US continuing legal education programs taking place in mid-2000 is given, and the next directory will be published in the 8-14-00 issue. The directory is divided by about 30 subjects, including acounting, banking law, patent law, telecommunications, and torts. Under each subject heading the division is chronological by the date of the program being offered.

A directory of major continuing legal education programs in the spring and early summer of 2000 is given. The arrangement is alphabetical by broad subject areas, and under these chronological with information such as the names and biographical sketches of the key lecturers, sponsoring organizations, and the names and telephone numbers of the persons to contact.

A directory of major continuing legal education programs offered throughout the US in mid-2000 is given. The division is by about 25 subject areas, including antitrust, health care, immigration law, and toxic tort litigation. Under the subject areas the division is by date, with the address of the sponsor and of the person to contact.
