Many best-sellers are available on tape, as are many books of a legal nature including legal thrillers. Books can seem engrossing on a tape which are long-winded on a page. Library collections include many recorded books, and Recorded Books Inc, in New York, specializes in unabridged tapes available both for purchase and 30-day rental.

Summertime reading suggestions for lawyers are given. The list of suggestions is divided into fiction, non-fiction, biography, paperback fiction and books on O.J. Simpson. The non-fiction section is longest and contains entries ranging from a book on legal movies, an analysis of late 19th and early 20th century immigration law cases, an argument against religious correctness and a book on acquaintance rape.
