GMail in high demand: GoggleEs Web mail service spawns controversy

Article Abstract:

GMail is similar to Microsoft CorporationEs MSN Hotmail and Yahoo Inc.'s Yahoo Mail, as all of them are free, but unlike the 2MB and 4MB offered by others GMail offers 1GB space. However the biggest concerns about GMail involves that when Google scans e-mails to place text ads, it doesn't have the consent of the non-GMail subscriber who sends a message to a GMail user and secondly GMail subscribers is unaware about what Google ultimately will do with the data GMail stores.
