"Joy" for the claimant: can a film also be protected as a dramatic work?

The author discusses the UK Court of Appeal decision in Norowzian v. Arks Ltd. and whether film can be classified as a dramatic work and copyrighted as such under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works.
