Lawyer hopes book will get client sprung; instead of getting flowers, his estranged wife got shot. Was his dad behind the crime?

Article Abstract:

Paul Luskin, serving a 35-year sentence for attempting to murder his former wife, Marie, claims he was wrongly convicted and that the attack happened during a robbery by career criminals involved in a drug deal. In a book on the case, 'Flowers for Mrs. Luskin,' Miami author Arthur Jay Harris claims Luskin's father, Joe Luskin, hired the robbers and that the younger Luskin is innocent. The Luskins were involved in a bitter divorce when the crime happened. The court has so far not believed Luskin's claims enough to reopen the case.
