The legal weasel trap; some lawyers think mendacity goes with the territory

Article Abstract:

Ways mendacity can enter into trial practice are described and can include encouraging clients to commit perjury through forgetfulness when giving evidence in court and using dishonest definitions when responding to discovery requests. The harsh remedies when such actions are exposed are added as a further caution.

Leave time for trouble; it's not too late to avoid a deadly sin of trial lawyers

Ways for trial lawyers to improve their time management is discussed, and the need to do so is emphasized. Such lawyers must learn to prioritize and keep modifying their to-do lists to meet the changes in cases.

The importance of character evidence to jurors decisions is discussed. This evidence is the key matter to think about while deciding where to place the focus of judgment.
