Article Abstract:

Law firms which have automated can solve some of the problems which may arise and achieve the greater productivity promised by computerization. Many of the problems involve printing computer-generated documents. To alleviate these, lawyers should send out their documents via electronic mail or floppy disk. Other computer problems can be solved by employing a knowledgeable person for computer maintenance and trouble-shooting purposes. Lawyers should also think twice before upgrading to be sure the time involved in learning a new system is worth their while.
