Unfair dismissal, discrimination and illegal working

Article Abstract:

UK laws protect foreign nationals working there against unfair dismissals while preventing illegal hiring by employers. Discrimination based on race or national origin is similarly illegal. Employers cannot hire workers with expired or limited work permits without prior approval. However, employers who act in good faith in hiring foreign workers will not be held liable if they check applicants' documentation prior to making such hires.
