That 'other' antitrust trial; FTC's case against Intel is no 'U.S. v. Microsoft.'

Article Abstract:

The Justice Department's antitrust case against the Intel Corp, in which both sides have guaranteed civility, claims that Intel's actions have adversely affected microprocessor innovation, but many of the trial's experts claim to have found no evidence of that fact. Intel enters the trial with the advantage, and its pretrial brief cites statements of the FTC's own economic expert to show the absence of evidence supporting the agency's central claim, that Intel conduct has chilled microprocessor innovation.

Article Abstract:

Issues regarding the antitrust trial of Visa and Mastercard are discussed.
