The challenge of electronic commerce; finding your way on a paperless trail

Article Abstract:

Electronic data interchange (EDI) is fast becoming a common method of doing business. Paperless EDI agreements are likely to impact attorneys in both contractual and litigational areas. Two worthwhile books on the subject are 'The Law of Electronic Commerce' by Benjamin Wright, and 'The Commercial Use of Electronic Data Interchange - A Report,' available from the ABA. Attorneys need to keep up on developments in this field, and with legislative and judicial attempts to regulate it.
