Timeslips faces tech woes with 9.0

Sage is addressing customer complaints concerning its Timeslips billing and invoicing software with the shipment of version 9.0. This version addresses some of the complaints, but the company is still working on others and promises the corrections in future versions. Complaints about previous versions include the inability to print a list of all previous billed items, and the need to pay for technical support to fix problems that are actually defects in the program. The company is addressing the support issues and is participating in Web-based discussion forums. Sage also plans to improve the documentation as well as expand its support staff and improve training for its technicians.
