Web-based technology is not just for insiders; knowledge bases developed for law firm intranets are readily adapted as valuable extranets

Article Abstract:

Law firms' focus should be the use if Internet technologies for the creation of legal practice systems to facilitate client communications. The Internet can be described as a system of interconnections and is the answer to developing technology systems addressing client needs.People with little technological experience can use Internet tools and the Internet's universal access is an even greater benefit than its wealth of features. Interactive technologies have inspired the migration of Web-based functionality to Intranets, something which meets attorneys' specific needs.
