What corporate social responsibility means to me

Article Abstract:

Lodwrick M. Cook, the CEO of Atlantic Richfield Co (ARCO), feels that corporate social responsibility means making a difference in areas the company understands, that the scope of these efforts and ARCO's financial health are intimately connected and that ARCO cannot support a cause antithetical to its interests. John F. Welch, Jr, CEO of General Electric Co (GE), feels that social responsibility for his company means a concern with education.
