UCITA: helping David face Goliath

Article Abstract:

The provisions of the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act are reviewed and evaluated. It is concluded that the act is a basically sound one which helps clarify the legal positions of transactions of intangibles over the Internet.

Making UCITA more consumer-friendly

The author evaluates the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act. He argues that enacting it will be preferable to the alternative of making article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code cover electronic commerce of intangible goods.
