The National Law Journal

Article Abstract:

An article titled 'Unequal Protection: The Racial Divide in Environmental Law' lends credibility to the belief that the minority community bears the crux of most of the nation's harmful pollution. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) does not adopt the Superfund Law in minority areas but conforms to the law's dictates only in predominantly white areas. Information sources for the article comprise databases on EPA lawsuits, EPA annual reports, families in the affected minority areas and environmental and civil rights activists.

Newsweek

Article Abstract:

A report on the attack on an Iranian civilian airliner by the US Aegis cruiser, Vincennes, in 1988 states that the action was at the instigation of the aggressive captain of the Vincennes. The US Navy's attempts to conceal the exact course of events by suggesting that a third tanker had triggered the flaw of events is revealed from the report. The reporters identified the Vincennes crew and were amply aided by the Federal Aviation Administration's database and the US Navy database.
