Uplink reviews the techniques behind the JFK crash coverage

Article Abstract:

An examination is presented on methods reporters used to research the airplane crash that killed John F. Kennedy, Jr., his wife Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and her sister. These included the use of computer-assisted researching, which gave reporters immediate access to information from a variety of sources.

An investigation revealed that a police database full of errors and duplications and drivers listed as more than one race in San Antonio. The way in which the racial profiling records and the methodology can be analyzed is presented along with the conflicting information about it.
