An injection of realism

Article Abstract:

A report by the UK Broadcasting Standards Commission says television portrayals of drug use do not encourage people to experiment with illegal drugs. Discussions with 170 participants, mostly drug users, showed unrealistic portrayals of drug use undermine the credibility of television as a source of information. Movies are more likely to glamorize drug use than television.
