Autumn brings mixed fortunes for big five

Article Abstract:

The start of the autumn season on television resulted in mixed successes, with ITV1's screening of "The Queen" earning a peak share of 35.8%, while BBC1's screening of "Coming Down the Mountain" garnering a mere 19.8% share. ITV1's "The X Factor" meanwhile listed a 43.5% share during September 1-3 2007. A runthrough of program ratings, as well as a list of the top 10 shows based on ratings, is given.

C4 opts for PSB over ratings in its birthday week

Article Abstract:

BBC2's Top Gear on Sunday takes in an audience share of 23% making it the top show in the top 25. Channel 4's Lost for Words pulled in a 7% share when theu aired Last Chance Kids for their Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday airings. Ratings for the week ending October 28, 2007 are presented.

Tough opposition leaves Mayo trailing

Article Abstract:

BBC1's latest offering, Mayo, on Sunday (12th March) 8pm pulled in just 4.6 million viewers accounting for 17.3%. ITV1's, The Royal, has pulled in 8.5 million viewers accounting 32.3% in the same slot. Details of the top 10 cop shows ratings are presented.
