Development hell

Article Abstract:

The TV commissioning process is much like the path in which sinners take in hell, with development producers of small indies being encouraged to pitch their ideas to factual television commisioners via email. The "e-commissioning" involves long waiting times, only to find out that your idea will not be developed. A personal narrative of an anonymous producer is given.
