Channel 4 won the race last week with its "Big Brother" finale, "Lost" debut and the third test in the Ashes. The audience ratings of BBC1 and ITV1 took the worst hit ever with this three-pronged attack by Channel 4.

Sky One and ITV2 struggle to retain share

Television viewer ratings for popular channels Sky One and ITV2 have decreased considerably recently. Sky One's rating slipped by 7percent and ITV2's by 6percent.
