Various developments that took place in BBC's news presentation since 1954 and the issues they will be confronting in the next fifty years have been discussed. Former employees of BBC have narrated their experiences.

Soho raises fears over tapeless BBC

Article Abstract:

British Broadcasting Corporation is planning to incorporate tapeless production. Execution of this plan would result in major downsizing of staff. Jeff Booth, operations manager of Soho Images feels that BBC and other broadcasters should discuss their plans before moving into tapeless production.
