Holographic 300GB data storage launch

Article Abstract:

Holographic storage allows producers to record content into different levels of a disc rather than just on the disc's surface. The Tapestry 300r is claimed to have the capacity to record 300 gigabytes on a single disc. The first commercial camera system employing this data storage method will be exhibited in September 2007 at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC).
