How ratings back up regional news axeman Grade

Article Abstract:

Michael Grade's announcement that ITV1 is cutting regional news operations from 17 to nine is yet to affect its audience share. ITV1's regional news at 6pm listed a combined audience of 3.1 million, or 20% share. Other news on television programs' audience shares, as well as a table ranking the 70 top shows for the week ending September 16, 2007, are also presented.
