Information is presented on how 2004 has basically been a good year for most facilities houses, as evidenced by stronger businesses, busy workers, satisfied bosses and fewer redundancies. The success stories and failures of some of the facilities houses are outlined. The role to be played by the newly created UK post trade body is discussed.
