How to change for the better

Article Abstract:

The ratings of shows on the revamped More 4 are doing well, with "Come Dine with Me" taking 710,000 viewers or a 4% share on its Sunday airing in the week ending January 20, 2008. The ratings of "ER" on its Thursday airing during the same week attracted 550,000 viewers for a 3% share. The ratings of other shows on More 4 and other digital channels are discussed.

Why soap can no longer clean up in the ratings

The decision of the Five to axe the daily soap, Family Affairs in order to fund more primetime dramas and scripted comedy that can be promoted with stand out campaigns so as to increase the ratings of the soaps is analyzed. The ratings of different daily soaps are also mentioned.
