Article Abstract:

CBS and NBC, the two United States based television broadcasting giants have introduced video on demand service. The implications for the industry in United Kingdom, especially after the recent battle of intellectual property rights between Pact and Channel 4 are discussed. The stand of Ofcom in this context is also discussed.
