ITC responds to epilepsy views

Article Abstract:

Cases of photosensitive epilepsy caused by fast light changes, saturated colors and flashing images on television have led to strict guidelines for broadcasters by the Independent Television Commission (ITV). Negative response from the industry, which claims the rules are too stringent and expensive to adhere to, is leading ITV to reconsider, and it will publish a set of technical amendments shortly.
