ITV axe to fall on Nottingham studio

Article Abstract:

ITV is poised to pull out of Nottingham after deciding to sell its multimillion pound studio complex and move nearly all its operations to Birmingham, although ITV may decide to keep a regional newsroom in Nottingham. This decision is a part of Charles Allen's plans to make hundred million pounds of savings in the merged company.

Saban enlists old ally to look at ITV bid

Article Abstract:

The Israeli u American media tycoon Haim Saban is helping Ynon Kreiz to bid for taking over ITV. Michael Green who was earlier removed from ITV and now is with Carlton is showing interest in joining the merged ITV.

Hewlett falls victim to ITV merger

Article Abstract:

The ITV merger left Stewart Hewlett, program director and Rupert Dilnott-Cooper, international chief without jobs. Both are very senior and have had a long term association with Carlton.
