ITV1 serves up a performance to close gap on BBC

Article Abstract:

ITV1's all-hours share in the first three quarters of 2007 was listed at 19%, a 2.9% difference with BBC1's 21.9% share. In the week ending September 23, ITV1 topped in primetime ratings for four nights, with the Monday season finale of "Hell's Kitchen" receiving 5.5 million viewers. Ratings of food and cooking programs on different channels such as "Nigella Express" on BBC2, as well as other ratings news, are discussed.
