Industry slammed over "lack of guts"

Article Abstract:

The television industry is thought to have a lack of creative and editorial programs commissioned in an effort to produce more "safe" programming to succumb to ratings pressure. A panel of industry executives agrees that the BBC is the biggest under performer, and needs to be released from the competition of always trying to beat ITV.
