Leading the BBC astray?

Article Abstract:

A new report by Will Hutton, on British Broadcasting Corp.'s (BBC) Window of Creative Competition program is discussed. Hutton has carried out a market research on the policy and concluded that the proposed policy is likely to pull curtains on in-house production in BBC. Apart from that, it is also likely to reduce creativity at the corporation.

WoCC will damage BBC, warns Hutton

Article Abstract:

Will Hutton, the head of The Work Foundation, has prepared a report at the behest of BBC on the corporation's proposed Window of Creative Competition (WoCC). According to Hutton, BBC's in-house production will not survive the onslaught from independent producers. WoCC is likely to harm public service broadcasting.
