Article Abstract:

The future sales of 600 British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) transmission sites on the open market has raised concerns because National Transcommunications Limited, which is already the owner of 600 Independent Television Company sites, is still being allowed to bid. A possible duopoly could occur if Rupert Murdoch's company News Corp. is involved in the purchase. The Broadcasting Bill includes the sale of research technology projects currently under development in the BBC.
