Medics on the mountain

Article Abstract:

Producer Rob Liddell climbed Mount Everest for the filming of "Doctors in the Death Zone", a show on BBC2 that follows the work of a group of doctors called the Caudwell Xtreme Everest expedition. Rough conditions posed several filming challenges such as operating a camera while wearing an oxigen mask, down suits, and three layers of gloves. A personal narrative on extreme filming on Mount Everest is presented.

Riding out the extremes

The TV documentary "The Ride" follows Guiness world motorcycling record holders Kevin and Julia Sanders, along with 11 British bikers, travel across the most extreme terrain in the world in a quest to ride the length of the Pan-American Highway. A personal narrative detailing the production challenges during the filming of "The Ride" is presented.

Living a life sentence

Article Abstract:

Cuba Pictures Production's "Boy A" on C4 is an adaptation of Jonathan Trigell's award-winning novel which tackles child crime. The program, was shot in Manchester, had several production challenges such as in casting and the shooting schedule. The making of "Boy A", from the idea to the final editing, is discussed.
