No more Marques for Magic Camera

Article Abstract:

Magic Camera Digital Effects Supervisor Alan Marques will leave the company whose computer effects facility he founded, formally by the end of July 1998. Marques is yet to decide among the several possibilities of what he would do after leaving the firm where he worked for five years, among them is to be a visual effects supervisor. Marques, who believes staying with Magic Camera will lead him nowhere, said he will remain in the industry and basically go freelance. There has been no internal discussion regarding Marques replacement, but 2D Supervisor Angus Cameron appears to be the best bet.
