Out of our comfort zone

Article Abstract:

Even as the big names of the music industry were preparing for Live 8, a set of concerts across 10 cities, to draw the attention of the world towards African poverty and debts, BBC1 and BBC2 contributed to the cause in their own way. BBC2 broadcasted Live Aid: Against All Odds on June 18, 2005 and BBC1 followed it up with Geldof in Africa on June 20, 2005. Both programs showed the reign of human misery and starvation in Africa because of its geographical disadvantages.
