Pioneer set to shine light on biology from cradle to grave

Article Abstract:

Pioneer Productions is set to present a two-hour program that would feature the human body's life cycles in 'The Living Body', a science commission for Channel 4, which would make use of high-tech special effects, including CGI, models and in-body photography, to show how the human body goes through changes at the different stages in life. The documentary will be shown in February 2008 and distributed internationally by Channel 4 International.

Industry pays tribute to a drama pioneer

Producer Verity Lambert has passed away at the age of 71, due to cancer. Lambert made numerousl contributions to the UK television broadcasting industry, with notable work in drama programs such as "Doctor Who". Other notable works of Lambert, and the views of industry players on her role in the TV industry, are presented.

Simply Media tees off for growth with golf site deal

Simply Media, an online video provider, has bought golf site GolfBug.tv by buying a majority stake in the site's owner, BrandLive. This is the first attempt at male-oriented programming for Simply Media, which has primarily female-oriented online TV channels.
