What the ministry managed

Article Abstract:

It is becoming increasingly common for European governments to reduce their involvement in business. Privatization began in the UK, and started to be emulated by other European countries in the late 1980s. It has been seen that companies can significantly improve their performance once they have been freed from the burden of state involvement. However, European governments still show signs of wishing to retain links with leading national companies, disregarding the fact that ownership is irrelevant to the creation of wealth.

Prior restraint

Article Abstract:

The Supreme Court and most state courts recognize the right of both the public and the press to access judicial proceedings. The judiciary can protect documents from the public in the interest of a case as in the case of BusinesWeek, although there must be a balance between individual protection and public rights. The press is liable for contempt of court if it disobeys even an apparently illegal prior restraint. In both federal and state courts, a hearing is needed to close the proceedings to the press.

Richard Ford on 'Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.'(My Favorite Show)

Article Abstract:

'Mister Rogers Neighborhood' offers a break from the challenges of adult life in a setting in which trust and decency do make life better. The program may not be great television, but that does not matter. It is a journey into genuine neighborliness with Fred Rogers.
