Network rules

Article Abstract:

The FCC has already repealed its Network Station Ownership Rule and Secondary Affiliation Rule in recognition of new market realities. Both rules were designed to promote competition in the TV marketplace but new technologies and services have made such protections obsolete. The commission is currently in the process of evaluating other rules to determine if they should likewise be repealed.
