Retrieving public service broadcasting: Treading a fine line at TVNZ

Article Abstract:

The changes to Television New Zealand (TVNZ) are examined as it provides arguably the most dramatic demonstration of the changes in broadcasting regulation in the last 20 years. The ability of the state broadcaster to walk a fine line over the next two years will be crucially important for the future of public service television in New Zealand.
