Screen test

Article Abstract:

Special effects teams in Soho are likely to be expanding their television and advertisements work into the film market, following the introduction of the SohoNet cable communications system. The system facilitates the transfer of film between organisations for their mutual use and is particularly beneficial to film producers who wish to save time and money on travel. Special effects workers in Britain may be tempted by the elevated salaries in Hollywood, however, and this should be monitored by the industry.
