Sky rivals Elstein with Hallmark bid

BSKYB deviated from its practice of building channels by bidding for Hallmak Channel in the UK, even as David Elstein remained firm favourite with his [pounds sterling] 167 million bid for the entire Hallmark business. Hallmark improved viewer ratings from .9% to 1.2% and is considered valuable for its older women audience.
