Squaring up to television's future

Article Abstract:

James Murdoch, Charles Allen and Mark Thompson, Chief executives of Sky television, Independent Television (ITV) and British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), express different opinions on digitalizing the television channels at the Royal Television Society (RTO) Cambridge Convention. James Murdoch's rude behavior created controversial issues. Chief of Yahoo! Terry Semel conforms that yahoo will not enter the broadcasting field. On the final day of the conference executives of BBC and Channel4 television channels expressed mixed opinion on idea of top slicing.
