The television industry sees new technology introduced often, and it can be difficult to master rapidly changing equipment. BBC Training and Development, and Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication both have effective training programs to keep up with state-of-the-art equipment.

BBC factual to phase out DigiBeta cameras

Article Abstract:

One of the cost cutting measures that BBC is planning is phasing out the DigiBeta cameras. The proposal has been put forth by the television broadcasting company's factual and learning department. The cost advantages that will accrue to BBC with such a move are also discussed.
