ITV controller of daytime programming Maureen Duffy has confronted many challenges in her first year, as the revamped soap "Crossroads" has not produced solid ratings and new programs have failed to attract audiences. Although Duffy has handled advertisers' demands well, she is still faced with the task of drawing viewers back to ITV.
