Merger implications of Time Warner and Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) as CW, 50-50 joint-venture, on UK broadcasters and pop groups are analyzed. Earlier, both the media giants announced that their networks are underperforming in free-to-air services.

ITV's US hunt set to push up prices
