The role of meta-analysis for connecting critical and scientific approaches: the need to develop a sense of collaboration

Article Abstract:

The discovery of statistical inference methods including correlation and analysis of variance, created a substantial impact not only in mass communications but in other related disciplines as well. The technique, which provides a comprehensive understanding on the relationship between quantitative and critical analyses, has been proven to be effective in reducing Type I and Type II errors.
